The 9700 series heat protector is composed of high sensitive bimetallic disc, moving contact, static contact, fixed base, shell and temperature resistant wire. When working, the bimetallic plate is in free state, the moving contact is closed with the static contact, and the circuit is on. When the temperature of the electric appliance rises to the operating temperature of the thermal protector due to the fault heating, the bimetallic plate will be heated and produce internal stress and move quickly, push the moving contact away from the static contact and disconnect the circuit, thus cutting off the power supply of the fault electric appliance and playing the role of protecting the electric appliance. When the temperature of the protected appliance drops to the rated reset temperature value of the thermal protector, the bimetallic strip returns to the initial state and the contact closes, and the appliance returns to normal operation.
- During installation, the temperature switch should be completely close to the mounting surface of the tested appliance.
- Do not collapse or deform the plastic / metal shell during installation.
- For metal temperature controller, when using, do not remove the insulating sleeve to avoid electric leakage.Not suitable for working in water.
- Not suitable for air temperature sensing, only applies to contact sensing.
