Stackable Female Header 2.54mm, Double Row (Long Tails)

These unshrouded header 0.1”/2.54mm-pitch header strips are commonly used as low-cost connectors. The standard spacing allows use with solderless breadboards, perforated prototyping PCBs, female headers, and our premium and pre-crimped jumper wires. The single-row header strips can easily be snapped into smaller strips to fit your application.

This is a high quality, gold plated Female Socket(Pin Header). It is the standard type with a 2.54mm(0.1") pin spacing. Total height when mounted is 8.5mm. Plastic color is black. They provide a very good, mechanically sturdy connection. These are the same connectors as used for pupular microcontroller boards like Arduino Uno, Mega, and many mbed boards.

These differ from standard headers as they have long tails to facilitate board stacking--of course, these can also be used in any project where board stacking is necessary.
